Most full bathroom remodels run two to four weeks on site. Guest baths on the simpler end finish faster; primary baths with moved plumbing, custom tile or a glass enclosure take longer. Material lead times are usually the biggest variable, which is why we order everything before demolition starts.
If the layout stays the same and we are replacing fixtures in place, usually not. Once plumbing or electrical is moved, or a wall changes, a permit is required. As a licensed general contractor we pull the permit and handle the inspections — you do not deal with the city.
Either way works. Many clients pick tile, vanity and fixtures themselves and we install them. Others prefer we source everything. We will tell you honestly where spending more is worth it and where a cheaper option performs just as well.
Yes, in almost every case. We seal off the work area, protect floors and hallways, and clean up at the end of each day. If it is your only bathroom, we plan the schedule so the stretch without a working shower is as short as possible.
